Me and my wife stayed there for the 2nd year in a row. Nice clean rooms with a lake view. We enjoyed hearing and seeing all the wild life. The service is amazing. Rachel the server/bartender was incredibly friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious and there was a variety of drink options. Great place to stop when you’re boating on the chain. Easy to park and find a table.

Nice room with a lake view. There was a deck. There appeared to be numerous activities at the resort, but we were only there for the night and did not get to check into those. There is a restaurant, but it was closed for a private event.

Fall...very nice place. Room was clean & real nice. Great having the deck over looking the lake. Great sun rise. Will definitely go back.

1) Rooms are clean and comfortable 2) I’ve never stayed at a hotel that has multiple fire pits! This is a HUGE plus! Comes with the firewood and the pits are already prepared and built with kindling— astonishing! 3) Food and bar: Excellent food with minimal menu. The old fashioneds were fantastic! Overall an awesome place and phenomenal staff! I’ll DEFINITELY come back for Cranberry fest next year and this will be my choice for my stay!

Great experience! Great staff! Great food! Great view! Great date with my wife! The Perch was lightly breaded and fried just right. Steak prepared as ordered. This place is tucked away, access by boat, road, or trail. Very charming indoor, outdoor, and bar seating areas. They have room for you, don't miss out. We don't have a need to stay there, but I certainly can't see why it would be any different than our dining experience. Try it for yourself, or send over flow guests there to experience the Northwoods.

As a local, I love when my family visits and stays at the Chanticleer Inn. The rooms are always clean and the prices are affordable. The friendly office ladies always take care of our needs and the service in the restaurant is top notch. We had Aubrey as a server multiple times and love her spunky attitude and attention to detail with her great service. I highly recommend.

This place is such a hidden gem!! We stayed here overnight for a quick winter getaway and we loved it! We have two Great Danes and it’s always hard to find a dog friendly place to stay, especially with their size. We were welcomed no problem! They left some doggy clean up bags, dog treats and a dog toy in our room! Also the room was SO clean! We felt so comfortable here we wished we could’ve stayed longer. We definitely will be back!

We used Chanticleer Inn for our many wedding guests this summer. The experience was a 5 out of 5 for sure as the staff was SO helpful in all regards from reserving a room block to our guests check-in. Very accommodating, friendly customer service, so glad they now offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chanticleer is the best in Eagle River if you're looking for a complete experience for waterfront location, lots of room options, full service dining, even Bubba's boat rentals! Our guests were very happy with their stay at Chanticleer and I highly recommend!!!!
